TREVOR MATHISON
Trevor is a founder member of Black Audio Film Collective (award wining documentary filmmakers) installation artist and a founder member of Flow Motion, (a collaboration of three experimental sound artists) who also record for Berlin’s Chain Reaction label under the name Hallucinator. Work includes Ghost Dance 2003, Dissolve 2001 & Dub Museum 1999. Currently working for BBC Radio and a recent film called First Night 2005 & BBC commissioned documentary, Home from Home 2005. Trevor’s work is informed by new technologies, a pre-occupation with sonic atmosphere, historical moments and creating “hypnotic sound travels on the interface between dub and techno.”
